WCTE's Annual Dinner is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24 at the Leslie Town Centre in Cookeville Tennessee. Guests will enjoy hearing from CEO Becky Magura and Board Chair Mike Gilligan as they recognize the WCTE Volunteer of the Year, WCTE Maker's Award recipient, The Joe Albrecht Award recipient and the Sheepdog award presented by Charles Sewell and family. The Annual Meeting is an outstanding event that highlights our mission of establishing lifelong learning and cultural storytelling by connecting the Upper Cumberland to the world and the world to the region.

"At last year's dinner we hit on something really special with the Songwriters Showcase," says Avery Hutchins Director of Development and Marketing. "l had a number of people ask me how were we going to top last year's event and at the time I wasn't sure, but I knew that it had to be big and it had to be something really special."

WCTE is proud to announce that Ray Stevens, the twelve-time Grammy nominated, and two - time winner accepted our invitation to be the guest performer for the evening.

Stevens has spanned the generations with 60 years of comedic musical talent including such as his multi-million selling hit "The Streak" and his classic pop standard "Everything is Beautiful."
